How does it work?

  • We maintain direct communication with all our partner breweries throughout the entire process.

    We will work with you to understand your schedules, which helps us secure the freshest beer available and provide you with ample lead time. Purchase orders (POs) are submitted at least 60 days before the scheduled shipment date.

  • Should you need, our team can assist you in navigating the TTB paperwork to be compliant for export. Apart from this, our team of experts will take care of all the export and customs paperwork, allowing you to concentrate on what you do best – crafting exceptional beer.

    Once the shipment clears UK customs, you will be supplied all relevant paperwork to keep on file for your TTB reporting.

  • Once your beer is ready for delivery to our facility in Columbia, South Carolina, you will receive a designated dock time to deliver your product. Your beer will be placed into cold storage until it is ready for loading onto the container. The delivery date is usually 72 hours prior to the the container being loaded.

    If your beer needs collecting from your facility, this can be organised either through a third party or via our own truck, depending on location.

    If you are contract brewing, your beer will be placed into our cold storage alongside the rest of shipment, once packaged.

  • We exclusively utilise refrigerated containers to guarantee the freshness of your beer throughout its entire voyage. The container arrives at our facility already pre-chilled and maintains a consistent temperature until it reaches our UK facility. Additionally, we have access to temperature tracking throughout the entire journey for added peace of mind.

  • Our team of experts will handle the submission of all necessary customs paperwork, ensuring a smooth process upon the shipment's arrival in the UK. As soon as customs clearance is obtained, the container is promptly loaded onto a truck and dispatched to our UK facility. Upon arrival at our UK facility, your beer is swiftly unloaded and placed directly into cold storage.

    From the packaging line to its storage in the UK, we maintain your beer at the optimal temperature to guarantee its freshness.

    We also have the ability to ship our beer chilled to our retail and wholesale customers.

  • Crescent Moon is an approved alcohol wholesaler in the UK. Our dedicated sales team manages both direct sales and leverages platforms like Sellar to broaden our reach and distribution channels.

    All our wholesale orders are managed from our UK facility, where we employ a variety of delivery methods, including courier and pallet delivery, as well as direct delivery services.

    We take pride in our swift service and have the capability to deliver to our accounts within 24 hours of receiving an order.

  • In addition to our wholesale operations, Crescent Moon is licensed to retail alcohol in the UK. We operate an ecommerce store, The Beers of America, allowing retail customers across the entire UK to order beer directly to their homes, within 24 hours of ordering.

    We also have a retail space at our facility, along with a dedicated tasting and event area for an enhanced customer experience.
